Of course you want your building to look good on the outside. That’s why we have so many customizable options. But, we also want to make sure your shed lasts you for many years to come. That’s why we use engineered trusses as part of our promise to our quality construction.
What’s on the Inside? Trusses are a beam that holds up the roof. At Hometown we use engineered trusses which have a tie in that are fastened with metal joining plates. These are important to keep the weight of the roof from pushing the walls apart over time. This metal joining plate that will fasten a tie in to the walls, give the building stability and longevity.
Why Are We Different? At Hometown all of our wooden and steel sheds come with these already equipped. Some companies or individuals may use scrap wood as a joining plate or just don’t use them at all. Not only can this be dangerous, but this is also against code. In order to meet building code, a building must have both tie in and joining plates a building must have both tie in and joining plates. Without these, a building is at risk for literally falling apart over time.
Just like a book, you don’t want to judge a building just by its exterior. Stop in and take a look at our quality constructed buildings and see why we stand out from the rest!
